Karis Edwards
Hi, I’m Karis, a Yorkshire lass with a love for a good brew,
a skinny white mocha, and campervan adventures, but most importantly I’m a wife, a mum (and a dog mum too!), as well as a photographer and professional memory-catcher.​​​​​

Outside of photography, I’m pretty adventurous. I love hopping into our campervan and heading off with my husband, son, and dog to explore new places, and I’ve travelled to places such as the NC500 in Scotland, the Isle of Skye, the Yorkshire Dales, the Cotswolds, Wales, Northumberland, and the Lake District.
I’ve run marathons and half marathons, taken on the Yorkshire Three Peaks, jumped out of a plane from 10,000ft, and even stepped into the boxing ring for a charity match. I also spend time raising money for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis in memory of my mum something very close to my heart.

I got my first proper camera at 14 (a Fujifilm HS20, which proudly replaced my iPod Touch as my go-to photo device), and from there things snowballed. I studied Level 3 Photography at college, gaining three Distinction*s, before going on to study Digital Journalism at Leeds Beckett University, graduating with a 2:1. I photographed my first wedding in 2015 at just 17, and I’ve been telling people’s stories through images ever since.
